BOYS ORPHANAGE

The present strength of inmates is 150. It includes both Orphans and Destitutes. They are given free food, accommodation up to the Secondary level Education. Eligible students are given admission in courses like CUTTING & TAILORING, ELECTRONIC MECHANIC AND COMPUTER. By giving proper education including religious education these inmates become an asset to the Society and Nation. For the inmates stay, a convenient and comfortable Hostel has been built. Arrangements have been made for the inmates to develop their extra curricular activities like Sports and Games, Arts and Literature. In order to develop the reading habit of the inmates, a well equipped Library has been set up. A Madrassa, Arabic College, Industrial Training Centre have been set up for the benefit of the Orphans. Wholesome food is given to the inmates for which spacious dining hall and Canteen have been provided. 

 

GIRLS ORPHANAGE

On 9th July, 2000, Janab.U.K.Aboobacker Attakoya Thangal. Al-Bukhari Khazi, Kanhangad Samyuktha Muslim Jama-ath inaugurated  the functioning of Girls Orphanage. To alliviate the sufferings of poor orphan girls in and around who are deprived of basic education, the Committee was prompted to buy a house and a piece of land nearby the existing building to open a Girls Orphanage.

In the Initial stage, 11 girls have been given admission. We expect that the intake of Orphan Girls can be increased when facilities for their accommodation is available.

 

MADRASSA

For Islamic learnings, a Madrassa has been functioning in this campus. It was established on 9th May, 1992 and has been recognised by " Samastha Kerala Islam  Matha Vidhyabhyasa Board" ( All Kerala islamic Education Board). Cent Percent success has been achieved in the Madrassa Public Examinations for the last many years.

 

COLLEGE OF ISLAMIC STUDIES AND DA-AWA

Started on 19th July 1997, the college of Islamic Studies and Da-Awa is conducting higher courses in Islamic Theology and this Arabic College is preparing students for the Afsal-Ul-Ulama Course of Calicut University. Importance is given to Islamic learning and Arabic language. Now there are about 150 students on the roll. It has been recognised by the University of Calicut. Basic qualification for admission for this course is S.S.L.C. It helps the students to become disciplined and true followers of the Islam. The preliminary course is for 2 years and the final is 3 years. Preference in admission is given to girl students so that the educational backwardness of the Muslim Community can be alleviated to some extent.
