The Kanhangad Muslim Yatheemkhana (Orphanage) was registered under Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860. The General body of the Yatheemkhana consists of ordinary members and life members. It elects its 21 members Executive Committee from its General Council once in 2 years. It is the Governing body of the Yatheemkhana. The Executive Committee elects the Office bearers (i.e.,) President, Two Vice-Presidents, General Secretary, Two Secretaries and the Treasurer.
