Much attention is given to the active involvement in the field of Art, Culture  and Literature. Sports and Games are also given due importance. Weekly Literature classes are conducted for the benefit of inmates to develop their inborn talents. Arrangements have been made for coaching in sports and games. Our boys have won many first prizes in the state and Inter District Competitions of Art, Literature, sports & Games.

FUTURE PLANS:

1. A Hostel building with all facilities for Girls Orphanage.
2. A building for Arabic College.
3. Buildings for an Engineering College with a view of upgrading the present Industrial Training Centre.
4. Construction of Shopping Complex for permanent income for the orphanage.

DETAILS OF PERSONS BENEFITED FROM THE INSTITUTIONS

Inmates who have studied and successfully completed the different courses conducted by the orphanage have been employed in different parts of the country and within U.A.E.. They are also employed in Government, Semi-Government , private Sectors and some are well engaged in business.

SOURCE OF INCOME :

Muslim brothers in around Kanhangad and U.A.E have given considerable support for the growth and development of the Kanhangad Muslim Orphanage. But the permanent income for the Orphanage is very limited. Lakhs of rupees are being spent yearly for food, health, education and Vocational Training of inmates. Only a nominal Grant of state Government and support of the people of Kanhangad and those employed in U.A.E are only the source of income for the smooth running of the orphanage and its allied institutions. But the number of inmates is increasing yearly for which additional fund has to be found.
