Our Institution entered in the new era of Computer training while converting the training as Approved Training Centre of CEDTI.

The Scheme endeavors to promote high quality Computer and Information Technology education in the country at an affordable cost while ensuring uniform standards in order to build a national resource of trained manpower. The state of the art training available to the people of rural areas through the ATC keeping in view of the existing and emerging needs of the industrial and Government Sectors.

COMPUTER COURSES

As an ATC of CEDTI ( Centre for Electronics design and technology of India is an autonomous scientific society under Ministry of Information Technology Govt.of India ). We are conducting Software and Hardware courses.

Diploma in Computer Hardware Maintenance - ' T ' Level

Certificate Course in Computer Application ( CCCA)
Certificate Course in Computer Programming (CCCP)

EMPLOYMENT POTENTIAL OF CEDTI COURSES

1. CCCA - ( Certificate Course in Computer Application )

After completing this course, a student acquires the capability of carrying out the office keeping functions of any medium size company or organisations using computers. He acquires sufficient degree in Computer Literacy, which is invariably required for any kind of office job these days.

2. CCCP - ( Certificate Course in Computer Programming )

After completing this course , the student acquires the basic programming skills and can find an employment as an Assistant Programmer with any Software Development Company. He can also use these skills to develop small application programmes for day-to-day jobs in any organisation.

3. IT Diploma Course

The Diploma courses are developed in an integrated manner. Here the student should follow progressively from the basic topics to the most advanced courses. They are able to handle and operate application packages, then develop application packages for Management Information Systems, Internet, E-Commerce and finally broad exposure to the emerging technologies to the student to expand themselves. Apart from that, the student will be given training in Entrepreneurial Development Programme to enable the students to setup their own enterprises, so that a well-trained student can meet the entire range of  market demand reasonably.

4. ' T ' Level Courses

For the maintenance of highly sophisticated computer systems, qualified technicians with thorough knowledge in Electronics are required. Heavy market demand is there at present for these servicing technicians. The course module is designed as :

  • 3. PC Architecture and Trouble Shooting

  • 4. Software and Diagnostic Techniques

  • 5. Practical

PLACEMENT

At Present there is no placement cell in the centre but all the students are now employed in Government departments like Railways, P&T, Electricity Board, Navy, Army, Merchant Ships, many of them are employed in Gulf Countries and cordial relationships are maintained with them.

FUTURE PLANS

In the IT field, adequate market demands exists at present and it has bright future. In the non-informal education sector we propose to start ' O ' Level, ' A ' Level courses under DOEACC and E-Commerce course under CEDTI.
